Made from traditional techniques, Freako Fresh’s Amazin’ Raisins are a revolutionary product that has not yet hit the shelves of the common households. Originally raisins were made by dehydrating them in the sun, this caramelized the raisins giving it it’s distinct red colour, otherwise known as Sultana raisins. But in the last few decades, unripe grapes were harvested and they were dried in unnatural conditions with the use of extensive chemicals and pesticides. As the grapes used were not ripe yet, they weren’t sweet- giving rise to sugar dipped raisins and other dry fruits. We at Freako Fresh, sourced premium quality, ripe raisins and dried them in the traditional manner, under the sun, giving them a distinct colour which is not very often seen. Since the grapes used were premium quality, they were naturally sweet, making things like sugar dipping and using preservatives be useless. Adding onto this they have more antioxidants, have a deeper flavour profile.
